In need of a rich boyfriend

When the sun fails

This particular outfit was inspired by British weather. Summer may be around the corner but often, there are those disappointing days where the sun goes into hiding and the rain clouds come out. Days such as these requires the chunky knits to come back out, but not quite to the extent of winter where you wrap yourself up in many layers because keeping in season of summertime, I have paired it with some leather shorts.

Okay, so for those of you who don't know, I have an unconditional love for rucksacks and I have been wanting to add more to my little collection of bags. Currently, I am obsessed with the 3.1 Phillip Lim leather rucksack which can be seen above so if anyone has $735 spare and are feeling extremely generous, you know where to send it! I also can't get enough of Opening Ceremony x Chloe Sevigny's collection and I would honestly buy every pair of shoes in the collection. There are just too many sexy things that I want.

1. Alexander Wang cropped mock neck sweater
2. 3.1 Phillip Lim black leather shorts
3. Opening Ceremony x Chloe Sevigny "Mary Jo" bootie
4. 3.1 Phillip Lim black leather rucksack
5. Maison Michel hairband
6. Low Luv by Erin Wasson rings
7. Vivienne Westwood "Himalayan Yan" mask ring
8. Calender flat stack ring
9. Illesteva/Leonard 2 sunglasses

Safety Pins x 100

Completely aware of the lack of blog posts recently but since this term has started, my work load has gotten ridiculous. Whilst I was in London, I went on a shopping spree and I managed to pick up a Cheap Monday cropped sweater for a bargain of £10. Honestly, I used to always think, "Why does everyone travel for hours to go shopping in London? Are they mad?"; clearly I hadn't experienced London at all and their amazing stores. Although this top was a little on the plain side, I decided to give it an extra "edge" by adding safety pins onto the right shoulder. I like how oversized it is and it's definitely comfortable to wear; it's such a simple idea that can make any old/boring top look interesting!

In a weird way, I like blurry images. I like how they add another dimension to the photo itself, zooming out on all the little details so you have to use your imagination to figure out what you're looking at. Anyway, I got bored today and decided to style myself like "Chicmuse" - tight, on top of the head buns, red lipstick and thick, winged eye-liner.
This was the resulting outcome.

London City

After being sidetracked by playing on the Xbox Kinect, I have finally managed to finish packing for London. The reason why I am going there is because I have another university interview on friday which thankfully, is my last one! To tell you the truth, I am actually quite nervous/scared for this one as I don't feel prepared at all, not to mention the fact that the interview process is ruthless and cruel.
Anyway, wish me luck because i'll need it!

Leopard x Snake

Finding my interview outfit was probably one of the most stressful things I have done for a while now which is not exam related. There were so many questions to ask in so little time: Should I go smart or casual? Should I wear loud colours/patterns to stand out? Heels or flats?
I hate it when you purchase something online and you wait patiently for the postman to arrive every morning and when he does - along with the package, the excitement is so unbearable you have to rip the package open and try it on. It's so disappointing when the clothes tell a different story to what you have seen in photos and it's even worse when it happens to you twice in the same day. It's kind of annoying how models can make every piece of clothing look so good. Anyway, I managed to throw this outfit together last minute; smart yet......chic?

Beaches, Summer & a Foreign Country

To think I was sitting on that beach fives months ago on my World Challenge expedition to Vietnam and Cambodia makes my heart sink. I met the most amazing, hospitable and generous people ever and without any hesitation, I would certainly recommend anyone to go there. Trekking up mountains in humid jungles, elephant riding, living with a traditional Cambodian family without electricity and teaching young children English and Mathematics are just some of the things I accomplished on my month long trip. I made so many new friends and one of my highlights of the trip has got to be eating some local delicacy of deep fried tarantula!

I was inspired by the photo above to produce a chilled out summer beach look and regardless of the temperature outside, I wanted to remind myself of what I miss most: summer.

The Not So Aviator Jacket

My aunty provided me with this suede jacket a couple of years ago and for no apparent reason, I haven't worn it until now. Seeming as the Aviator trend is big this winter, I thought it would be a great time for it to come out of hibernation. I know it is not quite "Aviator" with it being suede as well as it not having the shearling lining, however I have grown to be quite fond of it especially seeming as it is something different.

As it was two of my good friends 18th birthday this week (Faye - 25/11/10 & Safi - 26/11/10), this weekend we went on a late night drinking session in town. I opted for a more simplistic and casual look (very simplistic/casual look may I add) wearing a pair of skinny jeans that I altered from a pair of ridiculously long boot leg cut jeans, a baggy t-shirt, my wooden clogs, a tan coloured belt and my Burberry bag. Oh and of course I took my "Aviator" style jacket out too!

P.S. more photo's will be up of me wearing the "Aviator" style jacket soon, I just thought I should post this up now seeming as I haven't blogged for a good few days - many apologies!

Gold Member

This jacket used to be so much more longer and it was also shapeless which looked awful on me, especially seeming as i'm not the tallest person out there. The bright gold colour over powered any outfit that was worn with it and so, I decided to crop the length of it.

Boogieing my way to the dancefloor

It was one of my close friends 18th birthday party on Bonfire Night (5/11/10). Her party was so much fun and perhaps I went a bit OTT when I sang and danced along to HSM's - "Let's Work This Out". Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it and I hope she did too!
