Diamonds Are Forever

One day whilst I was still in reception, I stole all of my mother's jewellery: gold bracelets, diamonds and sapphires rings - you name it. I didn't just steal it though, I handed it out to my classmates as "gifts". And so you ask why? Well, I purely done it so I could become the most popular girl in my class!
It's funny because when I look back on it now, I can't help but crack a smile and laugh out of embarrassment. It was such a long time ago I can hardly remember it but thankfully, I don't have to steal any more because I have recently built up my own little collection of jewels.
Of course they're not diamond encrusted rings and emerald necklaces but this will do me fine for now and I treasure each and every piece - in fact, I received two more rings in the post today!

Oh and don't worry about my mother's jewellery because they're all safely back where they belong - she had to knock on everyone's door to retrieve them! Ha!

Fashionology: Claw Clamping Fashion

Jewellery lovers be sure to check out www.fashionology.nl. I can't get enough of their handmade high quality collection which ranges from bird skull necklaces to claw clamping rings. These products are 100% silver lined and they are a bargain for what they are. Not only do they make a perfect gift for Christmas, they are also one of a kind pieces.
Beware though, stock is quickly running out so get credit cards out in hand and get clicking away!

Belts Galore

Over the years I have built up my belt collection and last week, I decided to clear out my belt draw giving it a good tidy up (as you can see below).
I'm not going to lie, I haven't even worn half the belts and some of the belts don't appeal to me which means i'm going to pay a trip to the local charity shop.

Currently, my favourite belt is the skinny leopard print belt which I have wanted for a long time. Perhaps it is a little overpriced for a belt with it being £16 however, I think it is a great buy and have no regrets.
(Oh and it's from Urban Outfitters if any of you want to buy it!)

Revived Levi's and a Leopard Print Belt

Not only are they environmentally friendly (seeming as they have been recycled) but they're also a bargain! I purchased these high waisted vintage shorts from Urban Outfitters from the Urban Renewal section however, the sizes are a bit off as some of the medium sizes were smaller than the small size and so I literally had to try about 10 pairs of shorts!

Two Toned & Studded

To finally have these shoes as part of my wardrobe is such a relief. It has been a bit of a slow process from ordering them in the store (due to the only pair in my size being faulty) to actually having them delivered to my front door.
I personally think there is a smart element to them in addition to the fact that they are perfect for this season. The contrasting colours of the browns from light to dark is interesting especially because in some areas, the leather has been distressed giving off the vintage feel.
The leather also has different textures where the central area has more of a "suede" type feel and towards the toe and heel, it has been polished making it shinier. Although it may sound really wrong, I can reassure you that it is so right and the two finishes of the leather actually works well together even if the pictures say otherwise!
Oh, and how can I forget to mention the embellishment of the studs?!

Faux Fur Trapper

I bought this faux fur trapper from H&M yesterday whilst I was out in town shopping. I think it's cute and it is also ideal for the British weather as it's pretty cold out there these days. At least it'll keep my ears nice and warm!

What?! You Bought a Camel Rucksack?

My most recent purchase of a taupe/camel ruckpack from topshop.com.
I fell in love with it ever since I saw it on the website and I love it so much more now that it is part of my wardrobe! It is so convenient for over night stays in friends houses, travelling around, and just uses in general I guess. Also, it's a change from my usual shoulder bags and i'm always looking for something unique and different.

"Camel" is a major trend this Autumn/Winter so it's nice to know that i'm on trend!
I am aware that camel is soon going to be out of fashion but I am not a firm believer that to be 'fashionable', you have to wear clothing that is always 'in'. I personally believe that styling is a lot more important as it says so much more about the person.
In the famous words of Yves Saint Lauren, "Fashion fades, style is eternal".

P.S. the Topshop store in Liverpool Keys Court does not stock this rucksack so it must be purchased online!
